At CeDAR we believe that active addiction is best treated in an inpatient setting. Engaging in a residential addiction treatment program offers people the time, space, and resources they need to heal. A person in active addiction is physically and mentally unable to be present in their everyday life. We’re here to help guide you through your journey of recovery.
Patients transitioning from our medical detox program will not need to leave our beautiful campus in order to settle into residential treatment. Feeling nervous about treatment is normal, but our welcoming, inclusive community provides the ideal philosophy, aesthetics, compassion, and clinical support for people coping with addiction and mental health concerns. While being away from family and loved ones can be a challenge, we invite every patient’s family to participate in CeDAR’s Family Program to help them understand addiction recovery, work toward common goals, and connect with other community members. To learn more about CeDAR’s Family Program, contact us by emailing our Family Program staff at UCH-[email protected] or giving us a call at 720.848.3000. We want to help you and your family find lasting recovery.
Recovery Starts Here
Managing a substance use disorder may feel unattainable, but we want you to know that addiction recovery is within your reach. At CeDAR, we structure our residential programs to promote mental health, physical health, and spiritual health. Patients engage in an intensive treatment regimen in order to address a range of addiction-related issues, including:
- Stress management and mindfulness
- Taking accountability without drowning in guilt
- Communicating your needs effectively
- Solving interpersonal conflicts
- Acknowledging emotions without being controlled by them
- Working through cravings to avoid relapsing
- Coping with disappointment
- Living with gratitude, hope, and resilience
We know that each person takes their own path in recovery; however, by providing a safe, welcoming, compassionate, progress-centered culture on our campus, we allow people to grow and thrive in ways they never thought were imaginable.
Inpatient Addiction Treatment Best Practices
We use medical, psychiatric, psychological, therapeutic and spiritual care to help people heal. By offering evidence-based treatment modalities, our doctors, nurses, and counselors, will help to increase your chances of attaining a sustainable, long-term recovery from addiction and alcoholism. No matter how long you’ve struggled, it is never too late — or too early — to start living a life you’re proud of.
Inpatient addiction treatment at CeDAR offers the safest, most inviting environment for anyone diagnosed with an alcohol or drug use disorder. We will work with you to structure a straightforward and effective addiction treatment plan to help stabilize your life and find recovery.
Many CeDAR alumni have formed lasting friendships with their peers during inpatient treatment. We treat addiction as a medical condition and offer evidence-based programming that includes:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
- Motivational Interviewing
- Community Recovery Groups including 12-Step, SMART Recovery, Recovery Dharma, and more.
At CeDAR, we go above and beyond to help people stay in recovery. After completing our residential substance use disorder treatment program, patients will work with their therapy team to develop the best outpatient addiction treatment plan for their individual circumstances.
